Preconception & Fertility Support
The journey to conception can be surprisingly quick for some, and a long journey for others. Not only would I like to work with you to optimize your health pre-pregnancy, but I would also be honored to walk along side you in what can be a very challenging time. Having experienced my own unexpected twists & turns while trying to conceive, and losing our first pregnancy, I wish to provide a safe healing space for emotional processing, wholistic natural remedies to support your fecundity, and an open discussion on realistic expectations of fertility for everyone who are in this walk of life.
Expanded Postpartum Care
The fourth trimester is a very unique time. Just as new life has begun, the healing & transitions of a mother’s body require just as careful observation & support. While typical postpartum care, after a home-birth, may include around 5-6 home visits & office visits, I am interested in offering specialty & patient-specific care in between. Whether additional support is needed with breastfeeding, emotional challenges, or other symptoms that arise in the transition, I would love to be available to you along the way. This care may take place in your home, at my office, over the phone, or virtually depending on what is needed & preferred by you.
Adjunctive Pregnancy & Birth Support
Throughout my years as a home-birth student, I supported mothers birthing in hospital settings. While I am passionate about supporting everyone’s pregnancy & birth experience, I can provide adjunctive support to expectant mothers who feel most comfortable birthing in-hospital.
Prenatal medical visits often cover the measurements and tests needed to ensure a safe pregnancy, healthy mom and baby pre-birth, I can offer unique appointments to address natural symptom management, emotional support, and education simultaneously. This would include a minimum of 2-3 prenatal office visits, support during labor & delivery as you desire, in addition to 1-2 postpartum visits.
DMER BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
After experiencing my own breastfeeding journey with dysphoric milk ejection reflex (DMER), I have discovered that there are some breastfeeding challenges that a lot of new mothers and practitioners are unaware of. Being in that space led me to research & develop protocols to help improve a mother’s breastfeeding experience who may be suffering from DMER, or other negative emotional lactation challenges. To learn more about DMER stay tuned for more information coming soon.
